This term we have begun to work with students from across all of our academies in developing a student charter. The charter is a document which will set out what every one of our students can expect to experience during their education with Greater Manchester Education Trust. We have also begun to bring students in our academies together to lead on projects that will make a difference to every one of our academies and our local community, such as charitable work and environmental projects. I am certain that you will hear much more about these developments in future issues. Our aim is to give students an understanding of the value that really belonging to part of a group, and not only one school, can add to their experience and that they can lead significant changes in our community.

You can read about our student conference in this issue and, as well as articles about each of our academies and their recent achievements, you will also find links to really useful resources for supporting your child through exam stress, safeguarding support and staying safe online.

Happy reading!
